What else do i need to make my X MR Handle BETTER?

Hello everyone-

I recently lowered my car weekend fun EVO X MR on a set of KW V3 Coilovers, whiteline rear adjustable control arms, Whiteline Front Roll Centre/Bump Steer - Correction Kit, whiteline lower inner front bushing.

Im riding on +22 9.5" wide wheels and Dunlop star spec 2's, have about a finger between tire and fender.

What else would you recommend to make my EVO handle better on the streets.

Thank you!

What is it you're looking for when you say "better" handling? Is there something your car is doing you don't like? Do you autox or track your car?

Do you happen to know your alignment specs?

There isn't really much you can do to make your car handle better on the street. Nothing you will do will make a difference, other than spring rates and dampening.
Play with compression and rebound dampening until you get the car to ride decent. That's about all you can do.
Sway bars, adjustable arms, camber, RCK, etc affects nothing while daily driving.

+1

It's driving on the street. What are you needing? There is literally nothing you can do that will make the car handle on the street. What is "aggressive street driving"?
By that, I mean you can't drive hard enough on city streets to need anything special.
We're just trying to save ya some time and money.

Im sorry guys!

im looking for more instant feedback on the steering feel to make it more alive. If i run over a dime i can tell if its head or tails.
Is more twitchy the correct word? More of a racecar setup

Sell the KW's and get Ohlin's with 10k/10k spring rates. Whiteline roll center kit, and whiteline part number KCA400m. Also, rear trailing arm bushings. And a whiteline 24mm rear sway bar.

http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_...A400M&sq=15423

also get top hats with spherical bearings (vorshlag makes the best)

if your bushings are worn out, replace them also. Most people agree that SuperPro poly bushings are better than Whiteline since they started outsourcing to China. SuperPro makes a poly version of the part I linked above if you don't wanna do with a solid bearing.

get a more aggressive alignment, 0 toe all around. if thats not enough for you, get a little toe out in front, but keep in mind this will make your tires wear faster.

going to Ohlins when you already have KW V3's is prolly a little overkill. Ohlins are prolly a little better, but I don't think its enough of a difference to justify the price of switching.

Have you ever driven the standard setup V3's on the Evo X? They're kind of not that great.

not driven, but ridden in one, and got my *** handed to me at an autox by an Evo X with KW V3's... what don't you like about the KW's?

either way, all the other stuff I mentioned will go a long way in making the car handle more like what the OP wants, if he does all that and its still not enough, he can do Ohlins then...

Didn't ride well, and car was skaty. Dampers were not good at absorbing road imperfections, which made the car nervous for cornering.
