Vibration at high speed?
What's going on guys, I just had varrstoen es1 put on my 13 evo. They are 18x9.5+12 and I matched them up wits a 255 35 tire hankook ventus v12 evo2s. Now I had them put on and had a vibration above 60. I returned it again for another balance it continued. I tried a road force balance and now my steering wheel still shakes on and off past 70 ? For example I could be going smooth 75mph then all of a sudden it starts to vibrate. Any idea what this could be ? I suspect the cheap hub rings from varrstoen.

new hub rings did not work. I know suspect faulty tires. I'm going to my local etd to swap them to see if the shaking stops. And no I didn't check my alingment yet

So new hub rings didn't work, I just had them give me an alignment and swap my hankooks with general tires and it kinda fixed the problem but not completely. Now im super pissed because the next step is to swap my wheels back to the oem ones and get another set of tires to fit the enkeis. Luckily I have 45 days to warranty the generaIs i got from etd today. Anybody have an idea what else could be wrong besides my new varrstoen wheels?

Probably the techs arent too advanced.
Put the wheels on a balancer and look at the way they spin. Forget what weight they need to balance.
If it started after the wheel install then it has to be a bent rim or a lumpy tire.
If its felt in the steering wheel its likely the front wheels.
Replace the fronts with stocks and road test it.

I'm also getting some vibration around 70-80mph. First on Some Volk TE37s and on my current set of ZE40s. Alignment/corner balancing done right after the wheels were mounted.

I'm running out of ideas. I brought the car to mitsubishi and they don't see anything wrong with my suspension, control arms nothing.
The vibration got way better after I switched tires, but obviously it's still there.
Now I'm totally just lost. Funny thing is that it only vibates sometimes. It's not even constant. I'm going to go back to my stock wheels and see if it still vibrates between 70 and 80. I'm thinking maybe use a different set of lug nuts could maybe help.
