I'm currently running a 10.5+30 265/35 NT05s and am using a 15mm spacer to clear my coilovers by a credit card width. Brake clearance won't be your problem - suspension will.

*edit*

read up and looks like you're on coils. You should be able to run a 285/35 if you really wanted to.

without spacers? What size bolt would I need with the spacers?

this isn't a VW or BMW my friend - our cars do not use bolts. They use studs.

Based on my experience you will need at least a 15mm spacer to clear a 285/35 on a 18x10.5+30. You can get the bolt on type, or do it the right [i.e. safe] way and use extended studs.

Seems as though some people in this thread have different experiences though, so you'll just have to work it out.

I meant studs. Lol my bad. I got new studs when I had 10mm on the evo 8. The studs and spacers came with the wheels thou so I wasn't sure what size to get.

I didnt get 285s I got 275s on a 18x10+30. Some said I might not even need a spacer.

Thats my main question. Do I need a spacer? If so, do I need studs and what size.
