Does anyone have to deal with brake pads freezing to the rotors ?

I have a 2009 evo gsr . For some reason almost every morning my brakes are frozen from driving in the winter conditions . Do Lots of people experience this ? Should I change my Brake Pads to a different material ? Or do I need to find Proper steel rims if they have them for the evo .

This thread has some ideas on what to do & is worth reviewing

One of our experienced members noted using warm/hot water on the brakes before moving

I've had this happen to me as well but I like 99% sure it was the e brake sticking vs the actual calipers being frozen solid. If I drive the car in the rain and then park it that's when it happens so its not like theyre actually icing up but rather some sort of corrosion issue.

Or Im also wondering if youre talking about something completely different and your issue is that snow is getting packed up within the wheels and is icing over night and causing the brakes to stick? If thats the case I dont see brake pads changing anything and your only options are to clear it out before the car is parked or park it in a garage that remains above 32 so it'll melt overnight.
