FE with the GSR rims

Hi few days ago i install GSR's rims with the winter tires ( Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2) on my FE, tires are the oem sizes. When im on full turn the tires are rubbing against the wheel well.
Where is the problem ??

The GSR and FE Enkei's are the exact same size offset. OEM tires are 245/40/18. What size are the winter tires you installed?

Did a quick google search. A standard summer tire in 245/40/18 is on avg 25.7" tall. The winter tire you have in the same 245/40/18 size is 26" tall. So the extra .3" inches of tire height could cause the rubbing at full lock.

It's a possibility. It wouldn't worry about it too much. How often are you really turning lock to lock

Yes, it will. I have found that pretty much EVERY 245/40r18 other than the stock advans will rub the wheel well liners at full lock. My wifes car had 245/40r18 Michelin Super Sports on the stock wheels, and they rubbed at full lock...lol. The stock Advans are oddly small.

Yeah my stock size SC2's rub lock to lock too. Stock size Continentals I temporarily have now on RPF1's also rub the same way.

Right, but the OP is talking about Nokian tires, so he is obviously about to drive the car in white fluffy stuff.

In general the snow tires will have a slightly larger diameter when brand now as well due to the typical deep tread depth they would have. Are they rubbing the inner wheel plastics or the vented section in front of the tires that tends to bend around a bit. If it's the later you can use zip ties to pull the plastic vented fender pieces away from the tires a little so they avoid contact when the tires are turned.
