10.5 +18 fitment

Hey guys,

I've done a lot of research on the forums and off the forums without any definitive answer. I'm looking for people that have/ are currently running 18x10.5 +18 on their Evo X.

What camber angle and ride height are you running?

What tire size are you running?

Did you just roll fenders or do a pull as well?

Already placed my order so there is no going back. I'm trying to avoid pulling the rear fenders and of course I am trying to avoid rubbing at all costs.

I've read a lot of mixed results and opinions on this wheel size. I'm not looking for opinions, only facts on what you had to do to make it work.

So far I am estimating that at bare minimum I will have to roll all fenders flat with around -3/-2 camber front to rear. 275/35/18 tires all around and some adjustments to the inner fender lining.

Let me know how your experience has been and how you like your setup!

Thanks in advanced. Pics are extra appreciated! {thumbup}

I'm currently running 10.5+10 effective with 265/35

camber is set at -1.5 front, -1 rear.

Previously I was running 10.5+23 effective with 285/35, but had to downsize the tire due to my new coilovers having a larger spring.

Front fenders are untouched, rear quarter panels are rolled and pulled a little. I have the car balanced at .6" height above the tire, turn lock to lock with no scrubbing and have maintained excellent driveability/performance - love the setup, don't plan on changing it any time soon. Hi Ash,
By the looks of it the 18x10.5 +22 will fit with 285/35/18 just fine?

As long as your front suspension will allow for it and you're willing to roll things - yes. I had to move away from that tire size down to a 265 when I went to a beefier coilover.
