Enkei RPF1 .....what size?

For some reason I can never find the right size wheel for what I want to do, so who better to ask than fellow Evo X owners. I am currently riding on stock suspension and will do so for prob another year, and Im throwing the Black Enkei RPF1s on my OBP X. The car my only car, thus is a daily driver and will see occasional track use for road racing only, prob no Auto X. So my question is....what is the most aggressive wheel size (either 18 or 19), offset (???), and width (9.5 or 10?) can I get away with without running into rubbing issues. I dont know what tires I am going with yet, but the tire size does not matter, I just do not want to go paper thin on the tires for a bad ride. Im sure I will add some camber when I have them put on as well, dunno what I can get away with using stock hardware or if I need camber bolts or plates?? Your help is appreciated! Oh and if anyone knows where to get a good deal on a set of these, let me know

Found a link to the offered sizes and wheel specs:

Are you going to want to roll/shave your fenders or no?

hmmmm few questions... if i went with:

18x9.5 - what offset 15 or 38 and what size tires with no fender mods??

or what are my options IF I rolled the fenders? (19x10 and 22 or 25 offset maybe?) I was looking it up and doest seem too costly. also, would this size tire be positive for performance (with rolled fenders and proper camber settings) or are they too big where a 19x10 would not be beneficial other than looks?

I believe there was another thread about this not long ago... 18x9.5 +38 will need wheel spacers, 18x9.5+15 will need fender rolling depending on your tire size and suspension height.

what would be involved in running these (fender rolling, etc) and what size/brand tires would you recommend for a daily driver with some road racing that don't wear out in like 5k miles

Read this first: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...x9-5-28-a.html.
Second, you are talking about two things: suspension and wheels. Both go hand in hand when developing a track car. I think, however, you are more interested in a daily driver with some tracking and some suspension mod.s. Now with regard to the latter, you have to know what you are doing. I do not so I asked Rob Fuller (Robispec.com) to do mine. Now assuming you do NOT want a dedicated track car, you will therefore not go down the road of bigger tires and having to roll the fenders and the like. In addition, it is also important to realize that bigger tires and wheels means you will need more horsepower to get your car moving; so going bigger is going to cost you more than just $$ for tires and wheels.
That said, a good compromise for a daily driver with some track use would be" 265/35/18, +22-28 offset. By so doing you will have ~ the same wheel/tire diameter as OEM but with the 20mm wider track and no need to roll the fenders. Just my 2 cents.

Later, Ken

I think you guys mean 19x10 +22. I don't believe they make a 19x10 +15.

265/35 is not the same diameter as the stock 245/40. Use a tire size calculator and you will see that it is a smaller diameter and makes the wheels look small on an Evo 10. Even 275/35 is slightly smaller diameter over stock but a lot closer in size.

Here's a tire size calculator:
