Need help on 19 tyre / suspension set up
I just picked up my evo X sst yesterday. The original owner did a few mods so now i am trying to figure out if i need to make some refinements to the car to suit my needs.
In terms of suspension and wheels, the car came with Advan RZ 19x10 +25 (?) with 265/30 tyres all round and eibach lowering springs.
Coming from a 3-series bmw the 265 all round seemed unusual because i am used to seeing a staggered setup (e.g. 235 front and 265 rear) and am concerned it might be effecting the evos handling (ive already noticed the turning circle of the evo to be larger than my bmw).
I'm still a track novice but am trying to improve my times. Since i plan to track the car every couple of mths i am wondering if this is the wrong suspension / tyre set up for my needs. I dont really want to spend cash on a set a coilovers but wld consider putting back the stock springs plus revert to 18.
All feedback appreciated.

You do realize the Evo is awd and the BMW probably wasn't, thus the staggered vs non-staggered? And wouldn't wider tires up front provide better turnin because of more traction, thus less understeer?
