So I want to get springs for my EvoX...

Well I have been reading around the suspension threads, and looked at the spring rates and drops sticky up top.

But I still can't decide on what springs to buy for the X.

I am trying to decide between the Eibach ProKit and the Swift Sport.

The car is my daily driver. I live down in Puerto Rico so roads are not the best down here. I have a couple of friends that have Eibachs on the car and the drop looks very nice.

Right now I am on stock wheels/tries but I do plan on going with widers wheels/tires.

I use the car for track days now and then so I want something that is good for the track and not only good in terms of looks.

I would like to know how good are both performance wise. And is the drop on the Swift springs not enough to make the car look good enough?

I would love your input on this guys!

Thanks!

Eibachs are horrible, I just remved mine, they killed my shocks, but from the start they were floaty, certainly not an improvement on standard handling imo........save for some coilovers!!

mine now finally at a height of my choosing

Not a fan of Eibach at all. Tried some once and the ride was aweful. I went with Tein myself and couldn't be happier.

yikes.. springs on an evo? Just save for adjustable coilovers. Height/damper adjustable. You'll be happier.

Tein FTW. I ran them in my last car and now my X. Also PM me if you want a set I can get you a deal on some Tein S Tech springs if you want to give them a try (my buddy bought some before he had to sell his evo and hes trying to get rid of em)......Let me know.

Also I would like to know if anybody else is using the Tein Springs??? How do you like em, I LOVE EM!!!

I dont really like Teins because they are even lower up front than the eibachs and this is my DD car so I dont want to be scraping around everywhere

I drove an evo x with some work springs on it, it felt really responsive and had a nice even drop to it.

I am having a similiar dilemma in that I want to drop my car, but I dont' know if should go with coilovers or springs.

The thing I am worried with spring, is that I am hearing springs break over time. My car has 6000 miles on it and I want my setup to last for the life of the car. Mostly used for DD but I would like to take to the track in march 2010
