Enkei RPF1 18x9 +35

I know...another RPF1 thread. I haven't seen or heard of anyone running this size. Why? Are there fitment issues? I want to go wider than stock, but dont want +15...or wheel spacers. I had 19x9.5 +22 and I didnt like the steering feel. Did anyone ever run these wheels or am I the only person out there that ever considered them?

I don't believe they will fit without spacers. I have 18x9.5+38s and needed a 23mm spacer up front to clear the caliper by 3mm.

Can someone confirm? I am really considering this size. RPF1 is the only affordable/light choice and its basically down to these or the massive offset 18x9.5 +15...

I am 99% sure those will not fit without a spacer.

Mine have a decently deep "dish" between the outer rim and the spoke placement, but the spokes themselves are not concave. Here is some pictures before I got aligned (I am a bit lower now):

Protostar, have you tried them on a X or just on your IX?

Just my IX, but my +38s have almost no backspacing, ie the hub mate point is almost in line with the back of the spokes. AFAIK the X only has bigger calipers and a low raised portion of the rotor where the wheel will mate, likely exacerbating this issue. I could be wrong and should have noticed this was for the X, but I would still be inclined to believe there is no chance a +35 RPF1 would fit on an X though the spacer required will likely not be identical to mine.

They don't make 18x9 +15. If they did it would be perfect. 18x9.5 +15 will fit just really aggressive.

The +35 will require a spacer up front to clear the larger calipers on the Evo X.

The rear will fit with clearance fine, but it will look awful with a sunken wheel.

Long story short I'm running the 18x9 +35 rpf1 with a 20mm spacer both front and rear. Had the same question and dilemma before installing, so I got the spacers just to be on the safe side. I have no issues other than during full steering lock I get rubbing on the inner fender liner but otherwise it handles just fine.

I'm on RT Ohlins right now and I'm looking at 18x9.5, can I get away with rolling my fenders?

Assuming you meant "without" rolling your fenders.

I believe you need to be between 22 and 28 offset to avoid rolling your fenders, and avoid a beefy 9.5 tire. (Toyo R1R, starspecs, etc).
