i will be doing air suspension on mine soon. instead of rubber air bags, they have developed cylinder cups. Which is a coil & cups combined. you basically set ur height to the lowest setting u want, so the car will sit on the coils when u wanna ride it low, then with a press on of button is raises the car abt 5inches of the ground. this help u climb steep ramps and speed bumps. It is also race tested. checkout www.umbrellaautodesign.com. its the same concept from the SL benzs ans most sports cars now a days.

This is the second time in as many days that someone with very few posts has suggested that you can use these things for anything other than slowly clearing a speed-bump. What's up with this? Race tested. Bah. So's my cup-holder. Oh, and my engine burns fuel to make a boat-load of speed ... same concept as an F1 car.

What Mike and I have been trying to get across is that Umbrella gizmos are NOT an air-ride suspension. It's meant to raise the car for just a moment, to get over a speed-bump. That's it.

One is the non-zero bump-toe, unlike, say, an Audi Allroad.
