SA-55 owners please sign up and report your complains here.

I am talking to Weds North America. (their office is less than a mile away from my house)
I was complaining about the thin paint on this wheels which they wanted to see. I was thinking if its not only me who has problems (paint easily chips) on this wheels, maybe they can do something about it.

Please post your complains here/problems and I will print it out and show it to them next week (Wednesday) since the person that I was talking to is on a business trip and will be back next week.

Maybe they can give us a paint code or something to fix this problem.

rock chips are bound to happen to any wheels, it's just a matter of time and locale and size of the rocks your driving through. For me, mine are chipped near where the wheels lugs are mounting. But that can't be blamed by spoke design being so close to the lug area.

Mine got chipped around the hub. I also had chips, scrapes, and rounded off metal around the lug nuts, but that's squarely on the installer. I think the hub scrapes are on the installer too since most others don't have that damage, but I wouldn't mind getting a paint code.

I sent an email to Weds previously but got no response.

Mine has minor chips on spokes and yes, it would be great to obtain a paint code from Weds

Do any of ya'll have the BBM SA-55's and have these problems. I was hoping to order some of the 19x10.5's they just released but if people are having problems I might just order some Volks instead.

Yes the paint is very thin on these wheels. If you buy them ensure that whomever installs the tires takes the utmost care as they scratch very, very easily.

Sorry to hear about the issues you are having with your new setup Mark I hope they can resolve this for you ASAP!

Did you ever have any paint chip issues with the set of Rota Grid's you purchased from us? I'm curious if it's due to your location (possible road debris) as raytrix pointed out or another issue.

Dan honestly, I was more satisfied with the Rotas...no rock chips or any of those issues at all!

I drive only in CA-LA freeways.

Sorry to bring a thread back from the ancient grave, but I have to ask. Was anyone able to get the color/paint code for these? I would really love to get my hands on it.

Please? Anyone?
