GTWORX EVO X TARMAC SPORT SPRINGS PICS installed !

BEFORE

AFTER

We were able to get 300/300 lb rates out of these ! Functional drop of a little more than 1 inch. Ride quality is very good and as the owner of this car emailed me before I got home....and I quote..

Hi Myles,

Thanks again for the springs I took it for a quick spin around the neighborhood, and it definately feels more flat.
I really didn't expect to be able to tell much of a difference around town, but it was pretty obvious! So far so good

JL.

Turn in response is greatly improved. The top heavy feeling of the stock car with stock springs is gone! Now you feel as though the chassis is working with the rest of the car. The power feels good with the suspension where as before you felt like.....there isnt enough suspension for the power level and if modded...forget it !

Very impressive ! Makes me want an EVO X.

This client will write a short review soon so look for that and dont take our word for it!

These are now in STOCK !

nope, the first 30miles if VERY bumpy is all it takes. If one were to drive on VERY smooth roads it could take a while, but I did a good amount of bumps and rough roads after the install to take the springs thru their full range of motion which is what settles them.

VERY WELL ! The Bilsteins do have better damping qualities than stock and so that would be very noticable for sure. (for the better).

nice work.

any idea what the stock rates were.

I see they are progressive - do you have more details on the rates for initial vs compressed?

I shouldn't spend any more on my car, but I wouldn't mind some of these

In this design on this chassis, the small spaced coils are dead coils at the static ride height so these are not progressive. At static ride height the rates are 300/300. At full droop those dead coils act as helpers to keep tension on the spring in the perches.

Hope that helps!

Myles

do these work better with the Bilsteins or the KYB's? If I have a GSR, would it be worth my money to get some Bilsteins for these, possibly revalved Bilstiens?

If you can ge tused MR shocks and get them revalved by Bilstein to SPORT valving..that would be AWESOME! The Bilsteins with these would work very well.
