coilover question?

Hi all, I'm looking to get coilovers to lower my evo. My question is are coilovers adjustable all the way back up to stock height? My evos a daily driver and when the winter comes I would like to be able to go back to stock height so I'm not snow plowing. I'm looking at V3s or the eibach multi pros.

Can't go wrong with the V3's. I personally love mine and only think they're slightly stiffer than stock and never harsh. I don't think the V3's go back to the stock height though; even at maximum height I believe they're slightly lower than stock maybe a ½ inch drop or so.

There's a sticky at the top of this sub-forum that provides some of what you are asking for. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...art-evo-x.html As you'll see, for the coilovers for which we have specifics, none go all the way back up to OE height.

But are you really planning to raise the car every fall and drop it again every spring? People often say that they plan to do this up until they learn about having to have the car re-aligned twice a year. Most then quietly choose a single height for year around. And it's often at least a half-inch lower than OE, so the fact that many coilovers won't go any higher isn't an issue.

The alignment isn't an issue for me cause my boys got a tire shop so I would definitely readjust in spring and fall. Ill check the sticky but was just wondering if anyone else does this and what they're using.

Then I second the idea of V3s, as keeping the high-speed compression damping very digressive is how you maintain grip on snow.

Also considering tein type flex after checking around a little more. Any thoughts on these?

Don't ask me because I hate Teins. Way too much compression damping. Good only for perfectly flat and smooth roads, IMO.

I believe that V3s will also deal with the winter salt better.
