Not really. They partnered up with Daimler who's been working on ABS something like 30 years prior to them

nope, never heard of them. Probably shouldn't buy 60 dollar brake pads for these cars. Get the ds2500s

Edit: Bosch is a pretty big name in the automotive industry. Never heard of them being successful in break pads for our cars.

My reply from the other place ;)

Never heard of them, probably not selling brake pads here in North America.

Seriously for the same price or maybe a little less if you want good brake pads for the street go with the Posi Quiet from Stoptech.

If you want something a little more aggressive but don't want racing pads, go with the Stoptech street performance brake pads.

You can't go wrong with those.

Stoptech's are solid, low brake dust too. Not great if you plan to track though. Great DD.

OK. Maybe I should have said that Bosch invented/created the computer that allows ABS to actually work. With regard to who invented ABS more generally, it was neither Bosch nor Daimler.

But my point was that Bosch is not an unknown in the world of brakes.

I remember reading the story which was something about ABS being used on airplanes before actually being added to motor vehicles.

Actually, that's just something I just planted on wikipedia to see if you were a googler or knew something.
