ACT Xtreme Clutch Kit , NEW PRODUCT RELEASE EVO X
Advanced Clutch Technology (ACT) has released new high performance clutch kits and components for the 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR 5 Speed.
ACT’s new clutch kit for the Evo X features an Xtreme Pressure Plate that incorporates hardened diaphragm fingers for decreased wear and provides a 58% clamp force increase over stock.
The ACT Street Clutch Kit combines the Xtreme Pressure Plate and a Performance Organic Disc, a disc that features special performance organic friction materials to withstand increased heat and abuse, steel backed linings for high burst strength and
modifications engineered for quicker shifting. The ACT Street Clutch Kit provides a moderate and consistent pedal feel, smooth engagement, significantly improved durability and increases the torque capacity to 573 ft. lbs. for the Xtreme
Pressure Plate.
This is the exact same combination we currently run in our Evolution X, and we are very pleased with its holding capacity and daily drivability.
We have these in stock, and shipping now. $673.05 Click here to purchase.

Looks like it'll be a "fun" weekend project once the time arrives. =)
I've installed clutches in three of previous cars. (2g Talon Tsi, 1g Eclipse GSX, and a 91 Celica.) I'm assuming it's just all the extra aero parts on the evo that makes it "difficult"?
BTW I've had ACT clutches in both my DSMs, and I'll definitely install one in my X when it needs one.
