Which winter tire?

Ok guys, I'm torn between which winter tire to get. Right now I'm torn between the Dunop Winter Sport M3, and the Michelin Pilot Alpin A2. Here's the respective links to tirerack:

I've never bought winter tires before so your input would be greatly appreciated. I'm leaning towards the M3 as they have 677k miles reported in the reviews and are still getting great marks.

Thanks again guys!

Hey I just bought a set of winter Hankook tires for my RS. mounted and balanced for $470 and they are fantastic. They are Korean and about $96 per tire. Check out tires.com for prices (aka discount tires).

Continental WinterContacts are the whip! Had them on last winter and never spun unless I wanted too! Good for ice, slush, and medium deep snow. Had them in 4" fresh snow and had no issues.

Yes I'd have to agree the Conti's are GREAT M&S tires. Yet if you live in the mountains at 9000 feet like I do you might need more traction. I had the Conti's on for one winter and they did get me through. This winter I'm going with the Hankook's.
