I'm a 24 year old single male who's lease is up in May 05 on his Hyundai Tiburon.

I'm really considering buying a lancer.

Recently read couple of reviews on new model Lancer Evo MR that is coming to the US.

Can you guys fill me in on any info I might need such as
-is it out here in the US yet?
-if not will it be out mid 05?
-worth getting the MR over regular evo?

also, hope i don't take too much flak for this, but i read that the EVO MR is a 6 speed electronically limited @ 120MPH. I also read that it will do 120MPH in 4th gear. How easy is it to have the limitor removed? is it something I can do myself (not much knowledge bout that kinda stuff)? or do i need to take it to a place to have it done? I live in Cincinnati Ohio so if you know of any places it would be great.

Anything else you think I need to know before I purchase this car would be very appreciated.

Yes the MR is available in the US, I have never heard anything about their being a govenor on it. I will also give you this link:

and for the release date... its out already, came out few weeks ago, go check ur nearest mitsubishi dealer if they have em. and they are 35,000+ including the S&H... so if the dealer near you sells it higher than that, print out the yahoo! auto price for the evo...
