Alignment ???? Help!
Alignment ???? Help!
Just the usual newbie question... do i have to get an alignment when i purchase my evo? ive had it for a 3 weeks and i just want to make sure i have read that some people have their evo's aligned just after buying them.
I would seriusly hope that mitsu isn't shipping them out with the alignment off, that would be pretty bad. If the car isn't tracking right, take it to the dealer and have them check it out
if you didn't do anything to the suspension, nor did you hit a pothole excessively hard/ clip a curb/etc.., then why bother??
Is your car pulling, or are you getting abnormal/ uneven tire wear?

well the thing is that sometimes like the road or the freeway has like uneven repair and then the steering wheel moves just a little to one side, but then ill let go of the steering wheel just to see if it moves to the side alot and it doesnt, only sometimes it will... but iam not sure if its the road. i did hit a pothole once but it wasnt that bad.
It's a performance vehicle. The steering is more responsive than your typical sedan, which also makes it more receptive to road variations. You should expect the car to track relatively straight, as you're suggesting it does, but not perfect. As long as it doesn't pull hard, you're ok.

because it transmits the 'feel' of the road back so much better than a normal car, you will be able to nitice things like that. It is actually really nice when driving hard to know when you're getting close to the edge of traction
