Arrow I know knothing.

Ok first let me say to the mods and everybody that i love this site!!

Second, let me say that i just bought my 2002 Oz Lancer and i love it.

Third, I know NOTHING about cars.

To the point. I have been reading a lot about intakes. My freinds have them on there cars and I can definatly tell when they hit the gas, it sounds louder than without the intake on there. I have been thinking about getting a AEM intake for my lancer. But the thing is that my lancer, when i hit the gas sounds like it has a CAI in there already(meaning that its kinda loud already. My question is, will adding the intake make it a lot louder than it already is.

Like i said, i know NOTHING about cars, but slowly learning.

Damn, n00b central here. No cold air for autos. K&N FIPK and Typhoon, RRM, RMR, Injen short ram, and Buschur will fit though. It's not like you guys are exactly hurting.

hey mendo, welcome to the site.

i'd recommend an intake, and though it sounds louder, most people here really like it. check out the link below for some good inexpensive upgrades for your car. and run a search in the forums for intakes.

intake is a good first step. check out www.roadracemotorsports.com , and the article on the homepage of www.evolutionm.net about lancer upgrade path. they'll give you some helpful tips on what to do about modifying your car.

I didn't realize informing you all of your viable options was a bad thing. Whoops.
