Talking New here w/ 05' RS

Hi everyone i just joined these forums.. A lil about myself im 20 yrs old my last car was a honda civic hatchback but it got jacked 4/26/05 of my drive way. i miss it alot. Anywho so i went to buy a new car and i got a 2005 Evo RS white.. 20miles on it when i got it .. im still breaking it in. I love it so far really fast and everything. Sryy i dont have pics yet i havnt taken any. well just wanted to say waza and i have alot of questions to ask. Im totally new to this turbo Evo thing so i dont know much at all.. anywho thats it..

If some of u might wonder y i have GOOSE_Ej the EJ was the car code of my Hatchback Civic... THat was my baby .. so plz no flamming ...

Never knew there was an EJ hatch.... I thought there were only the EF, EG, EK, and EP.

Whats up man. ALL I GOTTA SAY IS watch your clutch since u have a 05 you got the duel stage rev limiter to save your transfer case. Hope you have fun with your new whip!

Break it in properly or you will heading back to the dealership begging for a warrenty coverage and with mitsu they like you to beg.

Ej is U.S

Ek is Japan

we not in japan so i have no reason to call my old car Ek righ

what do u mean .. srry i dont kno anything about Evos.. i got about 190 miles on it and i pushed it hard today cause some lady almost hit me will my car be ok still??

Your owners manual says to avoid going over 5k RPM for the first 700mi I believe. Some people here say for the first 1k or 1500mi.

yea i think i took it up to 4500rpm like 3 times but thats because i had to get outa the spot i was in... but the dealer ppl told me to keep it under 3000rpm for the first 2000mi ..
