Wat does WOT mean

The other FACT is that ANY motor being introduced in todays world is Hi tech.. Don't misconstrue 1970's old 350 chevy small block low tech beater versus today's 7.0L 500hp all aluminum C6 motor, that prolly gets better gas mileage than the Evo.

Last time I checked... the 7.0 L vette motor is still a pushrod motor......That means 2V / cylinder...hardly high tech.....Pushrod motors have been around forever...
Thanks guys!!! Post 100!!

man you guys f...ing kill me with this BS. just for arguments sake, what about the tiny tiny Rotory engines like the 13B or 20B. Kinda makes this a senseless discussion. Besides the original question was already answered.
Anyone can put a V8 in a car and make power. Ford had to go turbo to make there 4 cylinder Focus RS have power. Cosworth? Fact is that with any engine size u can make power. Whether ur looking for high rpm power or low for different types of racing is ur thing. Hey and that guy who kept trippin out about how good a V8 is go buy one, sell ur evo to someone that would LIKE to drive it. Put a Corvette around the same track as an evo with the same power and see who comes out winnin.
wide open throttle
I just dont believe evo's should be used for straight line... v8's will walk all over them in straight line. But rally or tracking is a different story. Some people actually to swap v8's into their import- fd ls1 i'd like to own one of those one day.

speaking of acronyms... what is DIG? I figure by always seeing it is used as "We started from a dig".. I figure it means starting from a stopped position as compared to starting from a roll... but I haven't been able to figure out if DIG is an acronym or not... and if it is an acronym.. what it means...
"Put a turbo on a V8"
"Put a V8 on the turbo charged"
So is that a mustang with a turbo or a evo with a V8??? lol... You still come out the same, a turbo charged V8!!! Anyways, yes WOT = Way Off Topic, at least in this case!!!
