I Think It's Time...

What's up everyone? I've been on this forum for a little while but I don't think I've posted anything...
My name's Tony and I own what's in my sig (minus the Evo). After several weeks of reading, studying and deliberating, I think it's time for me to make the jump from my Z to an Evo IX. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE my Z. The looks, handling, power. But even before I owned the car I've been wanting an Evo. Now the IX is out. Better turbo, better ECU (or a/f anyways) and MIVEC. Better front end (IMO), interior and whatnot. So I guess what I'm looking for now is impressions from either IX owners or people who have jumped from a 350Z over to an Evo (or vice-versa). I guess my main reasons for wanting to switch is...
1. 4 doors/5 seats (I'ma married man with 2 dogs... 2 seats doesn't cut it)
2. Stock turbo/easy moddability/easy maintainence (the Z costs too damn much)
3. AWD (safer, better launches)
4. It's got a 4G63 (I'ma DSM head. And yes, I know the differences b/w Evo I-III/DSMs 4G63s and Evo IV-IX 4G63s )
5. I just don't think I'll ever be happy 'till I get one (or a Skyline...)
Just looking for impressions/opinions from this community on what you all think. Thanks in advance for any help (any links to good threads also appreciated). Looking foward to joining the ranks!

What's up Tony?!
The only thing that stunned me is that you're even THINKING about putting a dog in your EVO? NO!!! lol

Best of luck with your EVO purchase.

"Family Car" is the only way my wife would even THINK about letting me trade in the Z for an Evo. Which means the dogs get to ride (part of the family )

Disgusting. I guess I'm biased because I hate the smelly, dirty ****ers. You let them live in your house? lol

Do you have a birthday coming up? If so, you can ask your wife for your ***** back.

Niiiiiiiiiice.... I set myself up for that one. Good thing is my dogs don't stink.
Only reason I gotta get with the wifey on it is 'cause she's the one that put $6g's down on the Z (because we wrecked her 3000GT... insurance money).

Welcome......

*Offtopic* hahaha, I bought this car since I have a great dane puppy that is getting too big for the G35 coupe. Also for the AWD, many other minor reasons but the puppy sparked the idea originally. He has his own blanket in the back seat. Trunk has extra food,, water, leash, treats, hell he went to a AWD meet with me and my other half did not.
