What kind of driving school?

Well, i just purchased a 2006 Evo IX MR and I was wondering if anyone here can recommend a specific TYPE of racing school that would help me.... not take any **** from all the SRT-4's here in FL. I havent raced ANYONE yet... but ive been tried so many times. When i do get on the car to around 6k the shifts are pretty sloppy. I know i can kill the SRT's but i dont wanna mess up my precious tranny!
Suggestions Thanks!

Well, driving school isn't about how to shift fast while street racing. It's all about how to hit the perfect line when preparing for and taking a curve at the proper speed after applying the proper braking at the proper time, etc etc.

You shouldn't be shifting anywhere near 6k (too low), and you shouldn't be going to 6k if your car is brand new either.

i babied it during the break in peroid... i have little less than 1200 miles now, so i think 6k is alright... every once in a while.

I dont think shifting at 6k would damage your tranny, it's more on how you would shift and engage each gear.

Well, I am joining SCCA here in Joliet, IL so I can race in autocross events and more importantly become a really good driver. It's like $80 and I have to go around cones and such with a professional driver, get my license and then practice my times.
