I'm sure at some point and time, you didn't know the difference between a catback and a turboback, unless you came from your mothers womb with haines manual implanted in your head.
I knew the difference because I assumed it was descriptive cat back, turbo back self explanatory

Isn't it ironic that you suggest I shouldn't be complaining when your first post on this thread was nothing but a complaint?

Lol like i said u have not even help the guy on his question...you just chimed in for no reason when it was not needed.

turbo back can be either a catback exhaust, testpipe and dp or a catback ,hfc and dp.

Never assume silence is acceptance.

FYI, I think this is the best forum around.

This thread has evolved into a broader discussion regarding civility and maturity on this board which will forever be an issue on any internet message board. So long as people can hide behind a screen name, they feel they have the right to act however they want.

I for one, am pointing it out. If you don't like it, don't do it, then I will have nothing to point out. Simple.

As for your comment regarding me starting my own message board... please grow up. If you have the right to insult people's questions then I have the right to point it out.

Finally, please re-read the second post. It answers his question constructively. I do not see how he needs any further help as his simple question has been answered.

Again i ask...why the hell do you care...u can say that some of us should of not wasted our time posting but same goes for u...there was no reason for you to even throw this into this thread when we really did not offend the original poster. I stand by my oringal post if he does not know this basic stuff the evo is not a car he should be trying to mod until he is alil more knowledgeable- Admin close thread plz.

Haha! You guys argue like a bunch of old ladies.

Everyone has to start their modding education somewhere. I browsed this forum for a while before posting because I immediately saw the attitude people give out when you ask very simple questions. Plus all my modding knowledge is for Audi's, VW's and Subaru's. Of course many concepts apply across platforms... while others don't. Evo's are quite unique IMO.

I'm suprised nobody flamed me when i asked about quiet exhaust when i first joined. Luckily it was a question about SuperSprint, something the search function didn't have any knowledge of which was helpful.

Still looking. I'm going to do as much research as possible before making a choice. I'm going to check out a few cars at a local tuner here in LA called HarmanMotive when i get a chance and have some talks with guys who know evo's well. I was there when they were dyno tuning my friends WRX when he upgraded his turbo and there were many differently configured evos there having work done. There are a couple other shops in my area which do work on these cars as well where i'll do some looking.
