Evo IX seing low boost

Looks like I spike to 1.2-1.3 Bar and it tapers to 1 BAr on the stock MR Gauge. The car only has 1000 Miles.

Shouldnt I see a spike to 1.5 then settling a little below that?

Could it be a boost leak? The car feels pretty slow.

Nope, that is basically the same boost I have in mine. Remember, it is hot out, and you arent going to get ideal boost pressures.

And the taper is normal too.

I thought the IX always boosted slightly lower than VIIIs stock for stock? I too hit 1.3bar and taper to 1.1bar and I hit 84.56mph (1/8th mile) trap speed in my (drop in filter only) IX just recently so everything seems to be working fine.

That's the problem it was like 60degrees outside..So the IX's usually boost a little lower than the 8's?

Are you stock? If so, that sounds normal.

I consistently boost about 18.5-19psi even if its really hot or somewhat cool outside (havent drove in below 70 degree temps yet). I get the occaisional spike to 20psi which is my cars max boost so far according to me Defi Control unit

Yeah 19.0-19.5PSI (which is around 1.3bar) is what I thought was the stock boost levels for EVO IX were, a little lower than VIII. Nothing is wrong, your boost levels are normal.
