IC sprayer

Hi,

Sorry this might be a real dumb question. But I searched and found little. What

year do the IC sprayers come on? Is it only 03's ? And if it is only 03's, is it on

all of them or no? I dont car if it comes on any of the earlier evos. Basically just

03 and up. And say if an 03 im looking @ has an IC sprayer on it, Would it be

worth getting the 03 over, say an 04? As long as circumstances were fairly close

on the car with miles and body and what not.

thanks and sorry for the dumb question,
Linko

I heard to put alcohol in there for extra cooling. I heard its not really feealable from the seat and it goes through the IC and out on to the road,track,etc... I just didnt know what years they came on and if it came on all of them? Where is the button for it located and what does it look like. Im wondering because im going to drive an 03 this saturday. Id like to test it out. Thanks

well i put ice cold water in it right before a race or cruising by the time i get there the intercooler is pretty warm so i use the sprayer and i can feel a difference...slight as it may be. but still i feel it. if the water has been in the car for any longer than 4 hours it is kinda worthless, exept for long runs at high speed

haha YEA its a nifty little gadget no doubt. im sure it does help a little bit... and i suppose any gain is good. Yea.... i use the **** out of it too. hahah.

When its on auto mode... how does it work then? does it only pop on at WOT? and when it does turn on, how long is it on, and how long is it between squirts?

Everyone says it doesnt really help. i could maybe see it helping on a really hot day. Most people ingore it and I dont think anyone really cares to test the ambient tempeture before and after.
