The type-s will "whistle" when it hits ~10-12 vac (maybe different - depends on how tight or loose). And on the freeway, sometimes it will "whistle" when you are at just the right speed and have the pedel steady.

Even when recirculated? I thought the greddy type s does'nt make any noise when it's recirculated? Unless he has an intake or something.

Sometimes with the K&N panel you can hear it. But no when using the stock intake and filter - you prby wont hear it.

I have an intake, you can hear my type-s from a block away. Not really what I care for, but it holds high psi well.

Is it recir. or VTA?

If recir. - check hoses, clamps
If VTA - make recir.
