Turbo back replaces the downpipe and the cat, cat back is just everything aft of the catalytic converter

Not a single person will agree with me, but check this out;

eBay exhaust

This exhaust is higher quality than most exhausts you will find on the market, and it's $189 for a FULL TURBOBACK system, compairable systems by buschur and ams price in the $1,000 range. You really cannot go wrong with this system.

Now you will get 40 replies after mine with fanbois they cannot see spending $189 on an exhaust............. Everyone on this forum seems to have the mentality that you have to spend alot of money on parts. Well truthfully it's a peice of f**ing metal, how can it be bad? WORST WORST case scenaro is the muffler sounds like *** and you can just buy a HKS muffler or magnaflo and have it welded on..... You still will be way under 1/2 price of any other system on the market.

cheaper does not mean less quality,

my .02

I suggest hearing other members exhaust and choosing that way, sound is the really big difference among exhaust, the ebay one works great for the price but its not for everyone...

You know, its funny that you said that no one would agree with you about that ebay exhaust because i was actually thinking the same thing. Its just a piece of metal that vents your exhaust gasses to the rear of the vehicle. My concerns in gettin and exhaust system would mainly be: how it sounds? how good it looks sitting on the azz end of my evo? and how durable is the material and finish that make up the exhaust system? Everything after that is secondary.
Unfortunately, the more expensive systems (Hks, GReddy, Apexi, ect.)seem to meet my criteria more closely. Can i justify spending 7-8 hundred dollars on a set of metal pipes that ........ (i don t think so) There fore i am stuck too.

I would love to find a nice looking, good sounding (quiet as possible), reasonably priced system for my evo. I am actually looking at the megan racing exhaust right now, which seems to be a good deal, but i don t know much about. If anyone knows much about that exhaust please advise me. Thank you

Nb. I've heard that those ebay exhausts sound like crap!!! lol They look nice though!!!

the ebay exhaust does look very nice, and hey it might be great quality, but it does look like it will be very loud... on another note ive heard a few sound clips on the megan racing tbe, and it was pretty deep but pretty loud too when WOT.... i personally am looking for something quiet like stock, so i might go with the works tbe... do i wanna spend close to a grand no, but its what i have to do for my daughter...

When I get my Evo I am certainly getting the ebay exhausts.

There is no way I'm every paying that much for a tuner exhaust.

XS Power and SS Autochrome buy tuner exhausts, copy them and produce them in china for dirt cheap.

A lot of people run parts from these people on other forums.

Their porting (on manifolds) and alignment isn't perfect but for price you definately cannot go wrong.

Pipe is pipe. So long as it's stainless.
