Electric Blue IX's in NY
Electric Blue IX's in NY
Hello everybody newbie to the site.
Quick question, how many people out there have an electric blue IX in the northeast?
When I went to the local dealership earlier in the summer, they told me it was a rare color and it was going to be hard to find one for me. So I went to the dealership in maywood, nj (1 hour away) and bought one there.
Is that something dealerships say to you when they don't have that color. Or is there really just a few electric blue IX's in the northeast.
If you have one please reply. Thanks.

i know this is kinda off subject. you need to watch out with maywood mitsubishi if you mod your car because they are the 1 of the 2 worst dealer in NJ to buy an evo (someone posted) because they void your warranty if you have mods with no if, and, or but. when i went there i talked to this young kid his name was sam tahhan, he looked cool and all. but as soon as i mentioned mods we was like i wouldnt do it because we will void your warranty. so just watch out. i ended up buying it from bell mitsubishi in rahway. and have fun with your 9.
Me and my buddy found one in Freehold NJ sitting in the showroom floor (SSL) and when I went to test drive Evos I found another one on the showroom floor (SSL again) at All Star in NJ.
Just keep looking around because the Freehold dealer told us there are NO GG GS-R's in America, that they're all MR's but on our way back home All Star had one on the lot.

They seemed a little shady at the dealership in maywood, nj. Way way too pushy. I waited four years to buy this car, I was 100% on buying one, and they were still really cutthroat.
I plan on servicing my evo at the local dealership in goshen, ny. Even though they aren't too happy with me for not buying from them. Whatever. I heard Goshen is pretty cool about modding the car. We'll have to see because I plan on doing it.
