Hey guys just got my 2006 EVO mr and I noticed that it did not have a sunroof like my 03. Do no MR comes with sunroofs? Also noticed no intercooler spray button either. But noticed there is a resevior in the engine bay where the intercooler spray bottle would have gone. Is it a auto process now when the car is at WOT or is that fluid/bottle for something else.

Geez, did you not research before re-buying?

Intercooler spray is gone - replaced by the ACD. See that neat little button on the far left of the dash?
And the MR comes with a lighter weight aluminum roof...

 

No sunroof on MR because the roof is aluminum.

 

The rear resevoir is for your rear windshield washer.

the rear is resevoir is for all windshield wipers... not just the rear one

 

Ok cool hey boomn I did research and had two small questions. Either way so they seperated the front windshiel washer and the rear? SO that is what the bottle in the front of the engine bay is for?

There's no way you researched if you don't even know that the MR has an aluminum roof and therefore no chance of having a sunroof...and that since the Fall of 2004, no USDM Evo has had the useless intercooler sprayer. You'd have to live in a cave to 1) not know that, and 2) pay $35000 for a car without even having a clue what it has and doesn't have.

He already told you that the reservoir up front is for the ACD. Do you not know what ACD is?

 

This level of knowledge for such an awesome car is laughable. Because of the military and my next set of orders I am unable to get an EVO and some people don't even know what they have. That really sucks!

If I could stay in the States I woud have one and I would never be ignorant enough to make a statement like the EVO is underrated....

To all that agree, sell your EVOs and hit up the Ford lots.

Wow you all can go F yourselfs! I got my car for 32 jacka$$ BTW with employee discount and I know about the evo's. I know a lot to do with the 2003 models. I do know what ACD is and I was asking two simple questions. Which I got answered. As for people that can't afford to get one or say that they feel bad for people that have a MR and do not know what they have too bad go get a better job.(excluding the army guy...good luck) On top of it all I am really good friend with Mark From Turbo Trix who does all the work for me on my cars. So I have the ability to have someone do the work for me...Don't Flame...If you checked this thread just to flame then you need to get a life or a g/f. Thanks for the people that actually helped with the questions.
