It's been a couple months but time and weather have both finally cooperated...here's mah ride after the drop.

And a big thanks to Mr. Trustz for his gauge overlay...

I have to say, I was skeptical about the drop at first considering the damage my friends have done to their front lips. Now I'm thrilled as all hell I got it done; not only does it look better, the ride height is not bad at all.

48mile - up next I'll be climbing the Buschur ladder some more. Their stage 2 alone doesn't do much so it'll probably be 2 & 3. Sure I could just throw in a 35R and call it a day, but it's been a lot of fun taking it step by step. I've learned so damn much about this car it's unbelievable lol

Looks awesome. Is it just me, or is that a different shade of silver vg?

Rhino ramps, those ever reliable, always dependable ramps that allow us to raise our cars without the fear of them crashing down upon us.

I hates em.

After using a set of rhinos only twice I noticed they were starting to buckle underneath (they are plastic after all).* Now, to be fair, this was partially my fault for driving up them at the wrong angle.* Why did I do this?* Because they wouldn't even fit under my front lip!!!* These ramps are made primarily for regular cars that are raised a good six inches off the ground, not lowered performance cars.* Oh sure, you can go to raceramps.com and get yourself a nice set of ramps for about $200...but who wants to pay so much for frickin ramps?!* They're long pieces of plastic, nothing more!

Sooooooooo...

(^done dropped the camera...)

Not only is the wood much stronger than the plastic rhino ramps, it's also a lot easier to ascend.* Since these ramps use a "step" feature, you can slowly but surely make your way to the top, rather than suffering an all-or-nothing incline.* Plus, should you roll back you only go down a single level and stop...no more worrying about rolling straight down the ramp (and possibly having the car come down on top of someone).

If anyone wants instructions for this easy build you can find them over at:

http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/...amps/index.htm

Cost to build = ~$50 for wood and screws
Race Ramps = ~$200

Back from the dead...it's me, formerly rane.

Ten years later I've moved, gotten married, and am moving into a new house with a gorgeous two car garage.

My girl's got 110k on her now, still only a stage 1 from Buschur, but still running beautifully. Oh, and that 6 speed transmission that was certain to die out way back when? It's still kicking
