Paint the interior

Anyone know how to paint the interior. I am looking to paint some parts of the car. I saw some guy a while ago that did it and he would do it for anyone for a fee, I have seen the interior spray paint but I think it wouldn't look good. Any have a step by step and what tools I need. If anyone has any pics too that would be even better. Thanks.

Josh

Don't Do It! Please! :}
Unless you are trying to cover the scratchings and such, don't do it. It will only look ghetto-fabulous.

Sleet did a write up on that so either search how 2 section or memberlist and search 4 threads under sleet.

You can paint your interior with the spray cans you see at all the paint stores or you can use a professional gun like a Sata NR2000 or the like. The process is the same as you would paint anything else...almost. The difference is after you sand or scuff you will need some sort of adhesion promoter to get your paint to stick. Also just a tip, remember that some colors(well actually most with interior paint) dry back a slightly diff shade, whether it be lighter or darker. So if you are going to paint one side do the other too so it will all match. Good luck

Funny that people still respond to this since I wrote like 6 months ago and have decided not to do it for my own reasons.

But if I was to do I wouldn't care if you think it looks to Fast and Furious. I think your ugly, but that's my opinion, so who cares what I think of you or what you think of my interior. That's why God made us all different, to have our opinions.
