Hks Hi-Power Problem

So I purchased an hks hi-power exhaust from a member on this board. First off it took me close to a month to recieve the exhaust after I sent the payment. Then after I recieved the exhaust I noticed it had no mounting hardware at all. I contacted the seller the following day and he said he would send it out immediately. This was at the end of last month and I am yet to recieve the mounting brackets and hardware.
In the past week and a half the seller has not answered the phone or any of the messages I have left him. I contacted a few hks authorized dealers and they told me that they do not sell that bracket seperatley and that they would have to fab something up. Can anyone give me the measurements for that piece or some ideas on what I should do? Thanks any help or feedback will be appreciated.

You need to re-used stock rubber hangers. ... gaah it's been so long I forgot what I had to do to get it to work.

Yea thats a good Idea, its just sitting in my room being useless anyway. But the damn shipping for that exhaust is pretty expensive so wouldnt I be lossing money sending it back or is there a way to charge the seller for shipping?

While you're at that muffler shop, have them chop off the resonator and replace it with straight pipe. It won't be noticable when you first drive it initially, but the rattles it makes will get to you. The resonator has no where to move on IX's, and hits the gas tank and the heat shield (it gets way louder when it rains).

I also had my flange replaced with a 3" flange while I was at it.

didn't RNR have the HkS carbon can on their exhaust. the carbon and the high power is the same size I think. give them a call, they might have the bracket you need.

Well damn i was actually planning on installing it myself since its so easy. But I guess its gonna have to go to the muffler shop.

As far as RNR, do you think they might have some spare brackets lying around or something?

Sorry to hear about your problems man that sucks, but if I were you I'd take it to a good shop and they can help you out there, I doubt you're gonna get your money back from the other guy, it already seems like he's avoiding ya

ditto. i got my friends hks hi-power for my 8. and mounted it turbo to axel and when i went to bolt up the can, realized only 1/3 hangers matched up... i fabricated an extention welded onto the left hangerhook on the can and i used the two holes made for the bracket and mounted my own..... the can sits a little low and to the left but it's sturdy as hell.. i'd still like to have the actual bracket to get teh actual look i want.....
