First post!

Hello all! Great site here. I currently own a 05 STi and I never thought I would say this but I am thinking about selling it and gettin a 06 MR. I test drove one a while ago and loved it. Everything felt so solid and crisp compared to my STi. Anyway I am going to do a lot of research about them before I jump into anything. Just wanted to say hello.

I lived in Park City last year and now I just moved to Downtown SLC. My STi is Black. In PC it looked about stock. I just had springs, tbe and a front lip. Now its wingless with gunmetal wheels. I have seen a few evos but only met one guy at a car wash. I forget his name but he was very cool.

I agree the Evo handles alot better and the power potential is nearly the same on both cars.

Had a modified STI too before coming over to the dark side.
Nearly didn't though as the dealer was a complete *rse when I tried to get a test drive.
My take is this;
It has more space inside, better handling and is less common (can surprise more people with it!)
There is one thing I do miss though, that amazing sound the flat four makes though a 'good' muffler...
Fair trade though for the handling alone!

Yes, the boxer rumble is something I really love. I would def. miss that. I am still on the wall though. I will probably keep my STi for the winter and then trade it in. I would like to do lots of research on EVOs before i make my purchase. Then I will be able to mod it right the first time. It is very hard though because I really love my STi.
