Advice buying evo

hey all, first post haha.. but was bout to buy an evo IX, for about 25,500, with about 24,000 miles, good condition n everything, had a little transmission leak, but to the point

the tranny just went out on him, talked to him a few days ago, he took it to the dealer and will probably get it fixed.. do u guys think i should still get it? A 9 for 25,500! but dont wanna get my self into ****...

when i talked to him he said when he was coming to a stop the car was shaking then didnt go anywhere, and the morning after it could move but pretty slowly and only in first and reverse.. any ideas?!

If you ask my opinion, i have a friend who's selling his 03 WW. Top condition
This car is inspected, owned and driven by Scott at TTP...Perfect condition, saw it in person..
