Im getting a DD and need it to be good in the winter. I am looking for something that would be fun to drive and mod. My budget is arounf 30 - 31k right away but money for mods two to three months after purchase.

 

TR WRX would leave you with about 7k for mods... sweet

 

buy a new stock evo that you know that will be broken in correctly and dont mod it because a 30k+ car without a warranty sucks donkey di*k..nothing should go wrong wiht the car unless it gets abused

 

Aryder, I was also looking at an STI but after doing more research on evos, i quickly became obsessed. how do you like yours?

 

Well i forgot to mention this is my first car. But im extremely comofortable with a manual transmission, so there shouldnt be a problem. Please all, hold back the flames.

An Evo IX MR is more than enough car from the factory. Have a stock IX MR SE myself and love it. Modded the heck out of my VIII and enjoy having the IX stock actually. Just my .02 but it's nice to know that if something breaks you won't be paying for it.

 

save some $$$ and get a used stock 05 GSR, at least you'll have the front lsd and ACD....

 

why are you dead set on getting an mr that is your problem right now get a ix gsr and be happy
