factory gauges in MR

factory gauges in MR

i searched but didn't see a thread for it, and its REALLY REALLY simple question too. On the three gauges given from the factory, what is the temp one for? Where is it taking its reading from?

It gets the reading from the drain plug; the drain plug is a temperature sensor.

yup ^^ its the drain plug

oh and by the way if you didnt figure it out already its for the oil temp
