1.2 bar on Evo IX !?
stock gauges are in kg/cm and not bar... reads a little higher than Bar. Here is the conversion calculator. http://www.csgnetwork.com/boostprescalc.html
my stock IX would do the same, it would go 1.2 kg/cm to .9 or 1.0 at redline

i'll throw this out there one more time since it was kind of ignored-do a boost leak test. you're boosting less than a stock evo should and just because it's stock doesn't mean there is no leak.
so you're covering up your leak in the piping system by turning up the boost with an MBC? you should always perform a leak test prior to a tune.
i just installed a catback on my stock ix and now it will spike to about 21-22psi sooommetimes usually 17psi and immediatley drop off to about 15 and when it drops off you definatley feel the whole car jerk....i did a leak test and found nothing are there anyother boosting problems besides leaks?

i have a intake adapter filter so theres no airbox...but even before the intake and exhaust the car did the same thing just not as dramatic or harsh. i even tryed taking out the snorkel and it made no effect...
