Yeah, but they are just trying to say that BMW has that Yuppie image. Most guy's buyem' just to show everyone they can afford one. Nice cars though, good performance, but many people are going to think you are a some rich corporate show off. If that is the circle you run in then more power to ya.

The cool thing about the Evo is that a lot of people think that the Eclipse is Mitsu's best performance car. Only car enthusiasts really know what evo's are.

 

Not that Evo's are sleeper's exactly. With the big wing and all, they have a really fun look, but with 4 doors and not so much mainstream recognition.

i've had the privilege to own both beautiful machines and i must say i love them both equally. the tranny on the m3 was just amazing.. shifted like butter but like alot of people said the fit and finish of the m3 is alot better then the evo. the car being a chick magnet doesnt hurt either haha... on the evo your gonna get alot more power if your into modding... stock vs. stock the evo is faster but not by too much. the m3 ride is less harsh, the steering input is no where near as sensitive on the m3. it all comes to what your looking for... if your not big into modding, like the feel of luxury but still want the speed and handling then the m3 is your car but if your into modding , not give a damn about how your interior lacks luxury then evo is for you... unless you have deep deep pockets and you can supercharge your m3 and all that good stuff then i would take that crazy m3 over a evo but either way you cant go wrong...

 

I drove an E36 M3 a couple years ago and instantly loved it. I had planned on buying one instead of an EVO but I want AWD......

 

the m3 is a luxury car with some *****... the evo has giant ***** and no comfort...
