20,000, that will let the valves set in properly as well as the piston rings seal up correctly.

read the manual. Boost alot but stay under 5k for the first 600 miles. Don't know where you got 3k from?

The moment you leave the lot, it should be taken above 3k. Who told you not to go above 3k? Did Mitsu not give you a manual and not tell you the proper break-in procedure? Did you also not bother to search or use the newbie forum before asking? Inquiring minds want to know...

It's 600 miles, and you just stay below 5k. Boost hard up to 5k all the time, then at 600 miles, take it to 7500rpm like it's nothing...

haha! Sarcasm never gets old! Didnt they make you watch that gay video that says how ofter to rotate the tires and change the oil and to keep it under 5k RPM for 600 miles or am I the only one dumb enough to sit there through that? haha

They made me watch it, but many people don't even know the tape exists.

Well I watched it, it was pretty dated. It said it had the most hp out of any 4 cylinder in the western hemisphere which we all know in 2004 was the STi.

Not to get off topic here...
