Production numbers for the Evo VIII

Has anyone seen or have access to the production numbers for the EVO VIII? If so, would like to see them..I had heard production numbers were around 6000 worldwide...per year...but, had also heard it was closer to 9000 in recent years..Anyone have the scoop here? Pls post. Regards, M

+1 I mean can't it be broken down like MR, RS, GSR, SE, and SSL cars then break it down to colors as well. All of this would be helpful

Well, Solved part of the mystery---Primarily around the 2004 imports to the states--from Oct 2003- Sept 2004 ( '04 Production run) 4678 VIII were imported to the States. Nothing on colors folks---but then thats part of why we have threads--to post what we know and maybe at some point we will have enough info to complete the story..
2005 US import numbers--4191 for the Evo VIII.

Not sure on world wide production, but about 6,000 for 2003 EVo Models.

i have some old numbers from a book a had for a while...
not much help to us but interesting!

note: all numbers are exports NOT production!


evo II/III- 220
evo IV- 107
evo V- 777
evo VI- 1869
evo VI TME- 1156
evo VII- 1089
evo VIII- ?
evo IX- ?

TOTAL MINUS VII&IX- 5218

You mean total minus VIII & IX?

The numbers for the VIII & IX will be way higher (obiously), but these are helpful.
