i have been looking at different websites and keep on seeing that most bovs do not fit the MR; does anyone know of any that may fit?

leave the stock one unless you are boosting over 25 psi

if you just want the noise...get an open filter intake

and get the car tuned for it so it actually gives you positive results

And just so you know, all Evo IX's come with the same engine bay. The MR isn't any different from a GSR or RS. There isn't a bov made just for an MR. I don't know if that's what you have been thinking... but it seems that way since you said that you couldn't find any MR bov's. Try Evolution IX next time... and don't get a bov just to make whiz bang noises.

in his defense, ONLY this one part, some sites for some reason DO SAY "does not fit MR" for whatever reason

but as far as replacing the BOV, get VTA! (note the sarcasm)

My bad... that's interesting. I don't know why they would say that. It seems just like saying "This friggin-whiggin 459 wheel was made only for the Evo IX MR" when it would just as easily fit any Evo.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I just don't see how the 6 speed tranny would affect the fitment of a bov. That's just got me confused.

Does anyone have a sound clip of a stock BOV with an open element?
