But it doesnt even show like the kpa or psi, right now the boost is set at like 10-13, the only thing i can mess with is the set, set gain but no boost.. >.<

Just turn the knob. Don't hit the mode or setting. When you turn the car on or if its reading the vacum If you just turn the knob it will increase or downcrease in % depending on which way you turn it.

set the start boost to 100

set gain start with 10%
then adjust the gain to hit the boost you want..

after you get there, then turn the set gain to 11% and turn down the gain to set the boost you want. if it doesn't spike go to 12% and adjust the gain again. keep going til it spikes then back it down one...

the higher u set your "set gain" the faster of a spool you will have. but if u set it too high then youll have a spike

the start boost has to be set between 90-110 on evo's i've found 100 to be the best

cheers!

I am not trying to argue but it doesn't have to be set between those numbers. I have my start boost at 130. Every car is different as you know so saying it has to be between 90-110is not accurate

it needs to be set be4 the wastegate boost. the ebc isn't a fast reacting so you set it a little earlier.

when i first got mine i was told to set it at 210 since that the boost i wanted to run. it worked but it wasn't the fastest spooling. i later learned how it was suppose to be set up and the results were much better

cheers! give it a try =-p

sorry guys, another noob question. when i have my profec B2 turned completely off (so it only shows pressure), it still goes much higher than manifold pressure on high rpm (up to 18-20 psi or even higher).

do i have something installed wrong? a boost line leak? an actuator isn't working properly? a broken solenoid? is it a good idea to check the installation or is it a common behavior?

thanks..
