sorry to see

take off the hotside and with vicegrips and some wd40 you might be able to get it off.

or just leave it and tighten down the other 3 to the manifold

similar thing happend to me with my rx7. it caused some boost leak when I just tighten down with remaning bolts. i'd say, do not leave it and just tighten down with rest of 3 bolts. There is a reason why there are four to begin with. Like skold said, drill'em out!

Definitely drill and tap a pair of vice grips wont budge those things

Stock tap if I remember correctly is 10m X 1.25

Good luck

Had it happen to me when removing a header. Drilling it out works great.

If you are driving a 03 or 04 now would be the perfect time to upgrade to a 10.5 housing. I did the same thing and swapped it then.

just to let you know its a ***** to drillum out...you better off getting the 10.5 hotside.

but ive been running mine with 3 only and its fine (for now)

but im looking for a 1.5 hotside

next time use liquid wrench on any fasteners that do a lot of heat cycling. don't screw with it anymore have your local machine shop pull the stud.

You should get some soapy water and spray around it, I wouldn't doubt it was leaking. I ran mine like that for a couple days and as the motor would warm up the leak would be less and less, weird. Regardless there was a leak and we all know thats no good

If you drill you need to be really careful to not get any shavings into the turbo. I would tape it off real well before you try anything.

Soak it down in liquid wrench and see if you cant get ahold off the nub with some vise grips or a small pipe wrench before you start drilling.

Its the bloody hotside...

Just take off the downpipe undo the v-clamp and take the thing clean off. If your hotside is stuck my method to release it is to LIGHTLY tap one of the bolts that connect to your manifold with a hammer. It should release and spin pretty easily after that.

If you have access to a welding torch, or propane torch, get the metal AROUND the bolt (hotside of turbo) hot, ALMOST red hot....then use a stud remover socket tool and turn it out..

+1. Take the hotside out, and you can do pretty much whatever you want to try to fix it. One of the bolts broke off in mine when I removed my manifold. Tried to use an easy out, and broke that off in there too. I ended up taking it to a friend that works at a machine shop. He got it out, and saved the threads.
