I have a friend with a few stock 9 parts available like dp, catback, i/c, fuel pump, injectors, sway bars, wheels, ex. cam, manifold, and I think thats it. I just purchased my evo 8 stock. Would any of these parts be of any benefit to me??

On another note, I was also wondering if there is any benefit to swapping in the SSL infinity radio and speakers less the sub? I wouldnt mind having a little better sound, but dont wanna mess with it if it requires swapping harnesses and adding amp's etc. if there is no benefits! Thanks!

If they are MR wheels that's a pretty obvious upgrade. Even if they are not MR wheels having an extra set of wheels for your Evo is not a bad idea if you ever get into road racing.

With an 03 you also want to grab a 10.5 hotside.

 

The IX fuel pump is 'supposed' to be better than the VIII from what they say on here. Also, I think the IX wheels look better than the VIII's as well.

 

Yeah, but if he's going to upgrade to that he should be tuned for it. And if he's going to upgrade to that, he might as well do the walbro.

 

lots of differences more then you think.but little modification most of them fixable.
basic parts like mentioned BOV ,rotors clutc etc is a same.

 

I guess that depends on how far he is wanting to go. My Walbro has been setting on the shelf and will till I add cams.
