Something is Seriously wrong
Hey Fellas It is me again and I have a major problem. A few days after I got my cams installed I got on my car a lil bit to about 7K and I started to hear a ticking noise coming from the front of the car and this only happened at WOT. So yesterday I take my future brother in law for a ride and get on the gas and the same noise happens at WOT in the high RPMs. So I let off but now I know the exact area the ticking comes from the Valve cover and I for sure think it has something to do with my cams. The ticking sounds like when u had a closepin and a card on the rim of your bike and you pedaled thats exactly how it sounds. Now the noise is consistent whenever I give my car gas. Please HELP me!!!!!!!!!! Have anybody ever have this issue?

lol... search
its lifter tick. not uncommon after a cam install. You probably need upgraded valve springs which means... guess which install you get to do over

driven... after your last post, i wouldnt comment too much about engine parts and internals
.... not knocking you, but your opinion will confuse someone who knows even less than you do. I see you still have the 05 turbo in your sig
i thought warrtalon cleared that up for you. Your turbo that was in your 03 is the same as the one in the 05, only difference is your 10.5 hotside. Not to steal from this guys post, and again, not picking on you at all, seriously

lol, i can see your point, but its not really an upgrade but a swapout
.... if you threw on a IX turbo that would be an upgrade... not so much the way you did it. Not that it was your fault, i know your situation, but hopefully you understand what we all were trying to tell you

how do i know if my lifters collapsed? I was reading other numerous post about the infamous tick and theres eventuallly goes away mine has not after start up and a few mins
I dont think your supposed to prime them. Your supposed to bleed them completely before re-installation.
