in 3 days im going to move to boston in my car .around a 16 hour drive and i just installed my ams tbe and its untuned.is it a problem cause its untuned and my service engine soon light is on but i heard that happens when uinstall an exhaust on the evo please help

 

well it is likely that the cel is from the exhaust, yes

it doesn't matter if you drive the car untuned it's not going to blow up

Are you catless? If you are its Not a problem, just an annoyance. If you have a highflow cat, your engine light might be on for something else.

yes i have a testpipe and yes its gonna be annoying driving it with all that noise but ill get use to it.hey electricevo we should defnately make a local meet.theres already a dude that i chatted with that has a evo 8 2 houses down from where im movin.it won't probably be as big as meet as down here but it will be nice. thanks for the answers

 

should be no problem, as for a check engine light thats odd, i have never seen that happen when i installed an exhaust on to any of my cars

 

you'll be fine man. just get the anti-fouler from autozone for 5 bucks and you're all set!....

i used the antifouler on my TBE and no CEL for 1K
