Clutch Blew Up - Question

So I've been driving it for about 4 weeks with it slipping. I have the new clutch and it is being installed right now. My question is that if this is normal:

Basically, the clutch pedal stuck down and stayed there. It locked me out of all of the gears. I let off the gas, let it cruise, tapped at it a little and it snapped back up. The action is familiar to the throwout bearing locking in and then snapping out on the new clutch. After that, it had nothing left, at a stand still I could shift in and out of gears without using the clutch. It did smoke a little before and after.

if your pedal is staying on the floor, it might need to be bleeded, or most like the the slave cylinder is going bad...

has the clutch been bled and adjusted since install? sounds like a TOB issue.

The old clutch, the moment it blew up, stuck to the floor. The new clutch hasn't been driven yet, at all. I'm thinking it is normal for it to stick to the floor the moment it goes. It didn't afterward, I could go up and down easily.

Any links to help me adjust the clutch pedal when I do get it bacK? Will I know from driving it if the clutch isn't adjusted correctly?

Good to hear. I assume that everything, set aside the clutch, was perfectly fine after that?
