True, that guy really tried to low ball him, and the next day it would be for sale for 30k plus, i see it everyday at my job and it makes me sick to see how the sales dept cheat people for the good cars like evo's.

Pay a consigner $400 to list it & process the sale to get what you deserve quick. Thats how I've moved my last two cars. Only catch is the car has to stay at their wharehouse while its on the market. Your car should bring high 20's...Evo's hold value well.

Evo's & STI's usually go for about $1000-$1500 back of book on trade in value. No Mileage adjustment is what the dealership uses. That honda place was just trying to rip you a new one.

Definitely try an Outlander on for size. Mitsu dealerships are in dire need of pre-owned Evos, as the 06 inventory gets smaller and smaller. You'll already be ahead of the game with a $500 loyalty rebate as well as the fact that many dealers are looking to unload the Outlanders they have in stock. I'm a sales manager for a Mitsubishi dealership and I've been doing invoice on Outlanders all month long. Tack on the $500 loyalty rebate as well as the recent Auto Show rebate and you're at a very lucrative starting point. As far as your trade is concerned, though, I'm not sure what region you are in, so I can't comment on that. But you definitely did well by getting out of that Honda showroom.

Just move on to the next dealership? Or try private party?
